On the 13th and 14th of November 2022, NIWF in collaboration with CFLI initiated its Election supervising training (Observer role) both virtually on the 14th and physically on the 15th. For participants from remote parts of Nepal such as Saptari, Kapilvastu, Sarlahi, Dang, and so on, NIWF held a virtual training program whilst physical training was given the following day to Observers who could attend the event in Alpha Beta House, New Baneswor, Kathmandu. The virtual session had a total of 84 attendees including the trainers while the physical training had 34 attendees.

Begendra Sharma Poudyal discussed details regarding the election of members of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly, The constitutional and legal system, electoral system, Legal arrangements related to incorporation, elections Program and election preparation, polling station, ballot, voting, and so on.

Whilst NIWF’S Talk Tamang, further elaborated on the Election Code of Conduct 2079 of the supervising organization and the observer Code of Conduct and Responsibilities, Concept of Supervision, and Policy on Supervision and institutional arrangements. At the aid of CFLI, NIWF distributed caps and jackets for the election along with IDs to properly identify the supervising(Observer) committee. The Observers shall be reporting closely with NIWF and CFLI to ensure a safe and accessible voting environment for all.
