National Consultation Programme on Issues of Indigenous Women in 71th session of CEDAW

On 24 August, the National Consultation Programme on Issues of Indigenous Women to be taken in 71th session of CEDAW in Geneva was successfully conducted by four Indigenous Women’s organizations, in which National Indigenous Women Forum held the role of secretariat, at Alfa House, Bijulibazar in Kathmandu.

The organisers comprised of The National Indigenous Women Federation (NIWF), National Indigenous Women Forum (NIWF), National Indigenous Disabled Women Association (NIDWAN) and Indigenous Woman Legal Awareness Group (INWOLAG).
